“Walk for Welfare” program for a trust fund for Nepalese students in Australia 2016-03-17, Himalayan Kangaroo To raise funds for a trust fund for students studying in Australia, a “Walk for Welfare” program is going to be hosted in major cities of Australia. The event is going to be organized by NRN Australia and will be organized in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Adelaide. Sydney: 19th March Brisbane: 2nd April Perth: 9th April Melbourne: 17th April Adelaide: 7th May NRN Australia is targeting a collection of 1 crore rupees and has requested all Nepalese to be a part of it and show support. The funds are going to be kept in a trust fund for the welfare of students. NRN Australia has revious;ly on a similar note raised 1 lakh dollars for the welfare of Nepalese under a Social Welfare fund.
